Swinging London? The Qui êtes-vous, Polly Maggoo of today? Miuccia’s Miu Miu Fall 2010 Collection is so fun. Exaggerated, but controlled and perfectly tailored. I love the large, woolly bows, peaked shoulders, mod, square-toed, mercurial shoes and the abbreviated, yet overstated silhouettes. Mary Quant, Andre Courrèges, Jean Varon, Peggy Moffitt, Jean Shrimpton… the gang’s all here in spirit, but today’s Youthquake is much softer.
