the modern crests by alisha louise

These enamel crest pendant necklaces by Portland jewelry designer, Alisha Louise, are so pretty. The colors she has used on these samples are gorgeous, but each piece is made to order, so you can choose from a huge list of colors. I want one of each of them to layer–so beautiful on their own and together they are stunning. I’ve been obsessed with arrows and laurel wreaths for a quite a long time… and this minty fleur-de-lis crest is perfect too. You’ll also find a Horseshoe, Maltese Cross and Griffin design in Alisha’s new collection. My head is spinning!
Alisha Louise will be bringing her Modern Crest jewelry series to Seattle this week. This Thursday, August 12, she will be at my dear friend, Tes’ boutique and gallery, Velouria, on Capitol Hill from 5-8pm for the Capitol Hill Artwalk. Then, on Saturday, August 14, she will be at Velouria again, this time at their Ballard location for Ballard Artwalk from 6-9pm. For a couple of years, I’ve admired the pair of Alisha Louise enamel earrings that Tes wears regularly. The beautiful Deco Drop Earrings were featured in Lucky magazine in May of 2008 (Tes has them in grey) and she has gotten quite a bit of other press as well. Find out more about Velouria designers on their BLOG & Facebook
In Portland, you can find some of her pieces at PedX Shoe Shangri-la. You can keep up with PedX on their new BLOG and Facebook.
