Fall 2010 at Totokaelo

My friend, Linda, is profiled in this month’s Seattle Magazine (SEE HERE) Style Guide for her gorgeous personal style. She always looks modern and effortlessly chic, but not in that current, oddly amorphous way that I’m never going to be keen on. I’ve admired and loved watching her wardrobe grow over the years, but fashion isn’t really what consumes her. Reading, opera, art, photography, interior design, a nice bottle of something and building her wonderful businesses is what really makes her tick. In Seattle, Linda shops vintage, Totokaelo, Veridis, Barney’s and Essenza (remember my cooing over Serge Lutens?).

I thought I’d mention a few of the things from one of my friend’s favorite shops, Totokaelo, that keep wandering around in my mind…

1. Jil Sander Stacked Black Heel.

2. United Bamboo Navy Silk Spiral Top & Le Bac Cable Cardigan in Grey and Esservesper Bronze Daniel Ring Stud (seen here with Rachel Comey Darby Clog and Acne Black Stretch Jersey Pants, United Bamboo Matrix Sunglasses in Black, Complex Geometries Oxidized Silver Path Necklace and Cuff ).

3. Bodkin Recycled Wool Neutrino Sweater, Opening Ceremony Long Pencil Skirt, Raquel Allegra Worn Leather Belt in Black (Aubergine + Grey are nice too!) and Acne Vega Black Suede Platform Pumps (seen here with Aesa Pet wood Aqua & Bronze Necklace and Complex Geometries Oxidized Silver Path Necklace).

4. United Bamboo Mohair Sweater in Grey and Wood Wood Karen Legging in Black Wool and Acne Vega Black Suede Platform Pumps (seen here with Complex Geometries Gold & Oxidized Silver Bar Necklace).

5. Hope Prophet Coat in Black, Hope Judge Trouser in Black and Eileen Shields for Zero + Maria Cornejo Wallis Cutout Wedge Heel.

I mentioned these before, and I love them in navy too!

6. Dieppa Restrepo Cali Oxfords in Navy (Totokaelo also has them in Black, Camel, Gunmetal Metallic, Gold Metallic).

  2. Jen McCabe says:

BLUUUURRRG…. I am so mad for it. I guess the fact that there is only a size 2 or size 4 left puts a halt to the madness for me. There is no way I’d even be able to get it over my boobs. So damn beautiful though.
