Eden Opulence

My friend Cindy just opened her new Portland shop, Eden, at 221 NW 11th Ave–in The Pearl. I stopped by to squeal with her on Friday and snapped some photographs. The design inspirations behind Eden are Biba (♥) and the Garden of Eden and it turned out beautifully! There is a similar feel to Flutter, the shop she co-owns with my pal, lovely Kalaisha Watrous, but there are a slew of different product lines and a more elegant feeling in the air at Eden. There are a lot of gorgeous vintage garments, handbags and beautiful furniture, as well as modern and vintage housewares and apothecary items. There is also a giant taxidermy male India blue peacock named “Gorgeous George” to greet you at the door.

If you live here in Oregon (or Washington, hello!)–you should stop by Eden. I took 82,348,652 photographs… I can’t post them all here, so you’ll just have to stop by the shop. You can also keep an eye on their lovely blog.

All images by me, Jen McCabe (find me on Flickr!)

My photos of your pretty jewelry didn’t do them any justice or else I would have posted them too. I tried to shoot through the case, but too reflective.
