A Giveaway from Colette Patterns!

I’ve mentioned my love for Colette Patterns and the talented ladies involved, many times. My good friend, Sarai, owns the amazing Portland vintage-inspired sewing pattern company and today we’re doing a giveaway of THREE patterns. Enter to win any three sewing patterns you choose–for you or maybe as a nice gift for a DIY-loving pal?

Here we go! The first Honey Kennedy giveaway! YAY!

To enter:

★1. Visit the Colette Patterns shop and figure out which 3 patterns you like most.

★2. Leave a comment below letting us know your favorites.

★3. To earn an extra entry–after following both steps above–post a link on Twitter to this giveaway http://www.honeykennedy.com/2011/07/a-giveaway-from-colette-patterns/ and include the hashtag: #hkgiveaway

Thanks! A winner will be chosen at random on Monday, July 11 at 11pm PST!

It doesn’t count as an entry, but if you love to sew or want to learn, I suggest becoming a fan of Colette Patterns on Facebook. They post other giveaways, tips and tricks, tutorials, new patterns and free downloads (like this one!). It’s such a great community of creative people talking about their projects. It’s inspiring to see what fabrics and details people choose to really personalize their creations.

UPDATE: A winner was chosen on Monday, July 11th. Congratulations, Nicole!

I have to say that whether you are musing about finally taking up sewing or are an accomplished sewist, the incredibly detailed, clear instructions and thoughtful design details from Colette Patterns are on a whole different level from most patterns you’ll find. Don’t be intimidated if you are just learning–you’ll feel really confident with how much information you are given. There are also so many cool tutorials on the Colette Patterns blog.
