You know I love a sour mug and a topknot (I too am afflicted with CBF.). These lovely things from the Lavenham A/W 2011 luxury collection are actually making me seriously rethink my stance on quilted clothing. It usually looks so boxy and stiff. I especially love the toggle coat and hooded vest. Who knew I’d love a hooded quilted vest from a company known for their horse blankets?

I think wardrobe stylist Lena Dystant and “Groomer”, Laura Barrow, did a fantastic job on this lookbook. Here are my favorites from Lavenham A/W 2011:

I love the outfit/colors in the last photo! I’ve always been behind a quilted purse, but I now I can definitely get behind quilted clothing, too.

    these are just GREAT!

sooo much better than the ‘inspired by…’ copies we’re more likely to find in the average high street shop.

i love the idea of buying an ‘original’; i can just imagine that everything would have hidden pockets for your flint or utility knife or sugar cubes or something, and that would be AWESOME
