Strange Rooms

When I am a bon vivant kazillionaire, I will surely have the strangest, most fascinating rooms in my manor. I’ve been admiring these objects for a very long time, so I decided to throw some things together and I actually really love the idea of these rooms really existing. Maybe I’ll do these posts more often!

Room #1
Alvar Aalto Golden Bell pendant, Moroccan Judaica Rug, Secret Wooden Boxes, Farnese Hercules Bust, Apollo Stained Glass.

Room #2
vintage brass ship bulkheads, industrial ‘xray’ pendant light, art by Carylann Loeppky, Moroccan berber rug, Kilim Pillow Cover, fine horsehair mattress, mossy saddle stone (similar)

I love the lighting and the wood boxes. I would use the stone as yard art, maybe by a pond?

We went to Florence this Spring and my husband has been all about getting something like the Hercules bust ever since. The link to the astierdevillatte site will be a dream come true for him. Thanks! And love it with the chunky wood.

ooo, the brass ship lights are are awesome. would be great for a dark wood, old-man-bar-themed bar counter?!
