Veronica Falls
I finally saw Veronica Falls live last night with my friend, Gail. Yep… I left the house and drank gin… ON A WEEKNIGHT! There were even pyrotechnics. OK, that is not at all true. A girl’s hair and puffer jacket caught fire when she leaned back–too close to a candle sitting on the bar. I don’t go to shows often enough anymore!
Anyway… my friend, Sasha, introduced me to Veronica Falls last year and I’m really happy that I finally got to see them perform. They were fantastic and just as dreamy as their recordings. Thanks…I really like this. I used to be so good at staying up on new music but not so much anymore…I am totally stuck in my ways with my favorite albums/artists (MBV being one of them, which is what intrigued me about this), but it’s refreshing to change it up sometimes. I’m digging this!
