Friday!

I can’t believe it is already Friday. Time needs to SLOW DOWN! I’m going to slow down this weekend and watch the film Henry & June. I’ve seen this movie 7,333,234 times, but I haven’t watched it in nearly 7 years. I needed a break from it and now I’m excited to see it again! My mother is an antique book collector and I used to love to nab her Anais Nin books when I was growing up. I feel like the actors did such a good job and the wardrobe, hair, makeup, sets and styling are absolutely stunning. If you haven’t seen it–I recommend that you do! Have a lovely weekend!
P.S. Don’t forget to enter the phenomenal $200 jewelry giveaway from Erica Weiner. (I SOOO wish I could… GARNETS! RUBIES! DIAMONDS! EEEP!)

Thanks for the tip that Beast is moving. I’ve always wanted to go but the island is such a pain to get to! Happy they’ll be in town.
Kacie
Island? They are currently just off Killingsworth!
I was just thinking about that scene from the last pic yesterday! I think because all I wanted to do all day was lay in the grass in a pretty dress.
And I was also pretending to be George in the field from A Room With A View. LOVE! BEAUTY! Oh, man. High on vitamin D. Hope you are giddy too. xx
JOY! Oh, Geeeeorge. A Room With A View is another one of my favorites–I know it by heart. Sigh.
Ah! So many lovely links.I need both of the sunglasses you shared. NEED.
They would look so good on you, too!!
really love this film, one of my favourites. wish i could enter some of your giveaways but am always worried about the cross-border duties i may need to pay. amazing jewelry though!
I can’t imagine that it could be that much money–is there a website where you can find out?
sorry, Jen, it’s the custom brokerage fees to Canada by Fedex or UPS in order to release a parcel at the border which are crazy. I got dinged pretty bad last year by Fedex. I think it’s cheaper, though, if a parcel is sent to Canada by USPS.
I love that film. I think it’s time also for me to see it again. I don’t know how many times I watched it but every time it’s better.
Love your blog!
Ciao:)
Thanks for the link to that hair tutorial – such a beautiful blog with so many fun ideas! So often my hair is either just up or down, I want to try some new things with it since it’s so long.
