Friday!

I got some good news this week about something I’ve been worrying about every minute of every day for the past two and a half months. You know, the kind of worry that looms over you–even when you’re laughing, keeping yourself busy with work or rapt in conversation with other people. It just hangs there. No matter what you do you have a sound loop in the back of your mind that repeats, “Please don’t let the news be bad. Please let everything turn out OK.” Well, I found out that I don’t need to have a second invasive lady surgery and that something that might have been something scary has turned out to be OK. I’m so relieved. I imagine some of you can relate to what I’m talking about–regarding either yourself or a loved one. You’re not alone and I’m sending you positive thoughts and big hugs.

In celebration of the happy news and a renewed vow to live life to the fullest–I’ve finally decided to go for it and buy my dream bicycle this weekend. The fancy bicycle I’ve been obsessed with for nearly three years! Take that, credit card! It’s on. With spring now blooming, I am looking forward to taking this worry off my shoulders and enjoying long rides through beautiful, flower lined streets. Have a wonderful weekend! If you’d like a soundtrack for your own bike rides through pink cherry blossoms–here is a dreamy mix I made last spring called BICYCLETTE.

Thanks, Jade. I’m sorry you’ve had health woes. It’s so scary and feels alienating when you’re going through all the motions and trying to stay “normal”. Here’s to getting through all the nonsense! xo

Oooh, can completely relate. Congrats on being free and clear! It’s a good feeling…. I have a series of tests to go through over the next several weeks that sound very similar in nature, so I’ll take the good vibes….
