Gudrun & Gudrun
The handmade sweaters from Gudrun & Gudrun are stunning! These beauties are from their upcoming A/W 2012 collection. The Gudrun & Gudrun label is owned by two women from the Faroe Islands–a sparsely populated group of tiny islands in the North Atlantic, between Iceland and Norway. It looks like such a beautiful and inspiring place to live and create! I’d love to visit someday.
They make their beautiful garments from sustainably, ethically sourced Alpaca, cashmere and wool. The designs are meant to mimic the landscape of the islands and are all spun and knit by hand (with love!) by Faroese and Jordanian ladies.
