I think the Foret and Nationale 6/7 sound right up my alley. Actually, they all sound terribly intriguing!
Oh – and my dream fragrance concoction would be light and citrusy, with fresh (not cloying) lime and coconut notes. Actually, Method had an all-purpose cleaner with a similar, great limited edition scent – lime and sea salt. Bizarrely, you really could sense the ‘sea salt’ in it. I loved that.

If I could develop one dream scent, it would have to incorporate citrus and gardenia. My hometown is famous for its orange trees, and nothing beats the smell of the orange blossoms on a summer evening. Gardenias hold a special place in my heart, as they were my grandmother’s favorite flower.
As far as already concocted OLO fragrances are concerned, Valens sounds right up my alley. Yum.
Ohhhh, I have been dying to test both Foret and Valens!

I have quite the collection of Olo perfumes. I love them. I love Nationale, that was the first one I ever tried. And then Leisure Nomad was my favorite and pretty much my ideal scent and I am sad that I have used the very last of my bottle of it because she isn’t making it anymore. I wore Daphne this Spring/Summer and I just bought Dark Wave for the Fall.
If I could choose another one though I would go with Lightening Paw or Foret
I’m currently loving FORET but have recently smelled Nationale which is coming in at a close second. Heather makes such amazingly magical scents I don’t know that I could come up with a better one. However, a campfire-middle-of-the-woods scent would be worth wearing.

In all honesty, I’m getting so caught up in their scenic descriptions, I can’t choose one anymore. Victory Wolf sounds unique and lovely…but then again so do Valens, lightening paw, and dark wave.
Also, I am forever in pursuit of the perfect vanilla scent that doesn’t turn sickly sweet. Vanilla, then, with a dash of spice and smoke.

I would have to say that the sent that sound the best to me is the lightning paw not only for its divine sounding sent combinations, I mean vanilla and jasmine WOW, but also for its fantastic name…..who would not want to wear a sent named lightning paw!

I’ve been coveting/excitedly sniffing store samples of OLO fragrances for a while. I really like Dark Wave. I have never smelled Victory Wolf, though, and the idea of it sounds wonderful.
I think my dream scent would be the smell of the beginning of summer, when it’s the first warm day of the year. I can’t figure out what notes that would include other than grass, but it would be fresh and sunny. And I would love a fragrance that featured basil, which has one of my favourite aromas.

As for dreamiest dream fragrances, I think the smell of hot piney dirt, like the mountains in Eastern Oregon, would be magical. Sweet pine, warm and earthy, would be so wonderful in the rainy months!
As a bonus entry, I think my dream fragrance would be natural, floral, and old-fashioned.Yet somewhat warm and heavy and sort of reminiscent of 1920s exoticism. Hard to say exactly what that might contain!
Valens, for a scent to linger of love, within it has such ability to can override any scent you are amongst, as love conquers all.
If I were to wear a scent it would have to encompass a depth of purity yet entice. A smell that is not only for the senses but that remains in ones mind. Which one can never pin point the remedy. It entwines perfectly.
The scent pops up in moments of sheer delight and brings one back to memories of joy. It would smell like the pages of an old antique book, the smell in the atmosphere of rain on hot tare, the smell of running through a field of sunflowers and the smell of clarity when gazing at the moon and stars on a crystal clear night over the ocean.

Nationale is probably my favorite of the OLO fragrances but I love them all so much!
A few years ago I stumbled upon this homewares shop in downtown Dallas, TX and they had these amazing candles on sale (going out of business I think) and they were AMAZING. I bought the few that the shop had left but I’ve always searched for a similar scent. I would wear it forever and ever if I could. It was a sweet woodsy smell… I can’t even put into words how great it was. You’d have to smell it :)

I LOVE the Violet and Leather, it’s probably my favorite… I can’t wait to try the new Cedar and Rose- that actually is my dream come true, but if I was to plant a dream seed runner-up I’d like to try something like a Vanilla/Patchouli with maybe a slight bit of orange.

Victory Wolf and Dark Wave sound perfect for fall!
A couple of months ago my friend and I were in Frances May huffing these perfumes (ok, not really), and the lady who makes them turned out to be there, too. Anyway, they smelled wonderful, and we told her so. My favorite was a combination of Victory Wolf and (I think) Foret. Which I guess is kind of like a forest fire, hmm.
I think my ideal scent depends on the day. Lately I’m into woodsy, smokey scents, but sometimes something sweeter, like vanilla, is nice. Oh, and I’ve always wanted a perfume that smells like mint.
Well, I cheat a bit because I already know that Violet/Leather is my favorite perfume on the planet. In fact, I’ve been trying to figure out a way to make it into an ice cream flavor :)

(I was actually thinking about this the other day)
My dream scent would be a mix of fresh grass, lemon & a small hint of pine. It would remind me of my childhood days when I’d go outside to make mudpies.
Lightning paw sounds delightful, but all are beyond worthy in my book!

Valens sounds amazing. I would like a scent made of Sophora secundiflora (Texas mountain laurel). It grew on my college campus and whenever I would walk by one I would think of grape koolaid. That sounds horrible, but its sooo nice!
Dark Wave sounds like just the thing to battle the coming rains here in Portland!
Also, I would love something that incorporates Amber in some way. I am always drawn to it!

The Nationale 6/7 sounds perfect!
My dream scent would be a sweet and spicy scent involving gardenias.
somehow i feel like i’m cheating (?) because i already love and wear Olo everyday. Nationale has been my staple and i adore it. but for fall i’ve been thinking of either Tulare or Erastus.
all of them are amazing. it’s hard to choose!
I think Carnation * Geranium * Cinnamon* Black Pepper is really cool. My combination of scents would be something like sandalwood, wood, waterlily, lavender… Relaxing but strong.

I would choose Valens! My dream scent would include brown butter and orange peel, something that smells like autumn warmth.
Oh! I’ve been craving Dark Wave and Victory Wolf, though Violet Leather is on my list as well! My fingers are crossed fervently – I adore OLO’s fragrances so much!
I am a sucker for a good old fashioned Rose… Vanilla… I guess I am Victorian at heart! The one I am hankering for from OLO is Tulare, though…. it sounds like a scent I can dive into.

I have always been intrigued by Forêt, Lightning Paw, and Victory Wolf, but the new Tulare and Dark Wave scents sound equally divine. I have not yet had the pleasure of smelling any OLO fragrances in person, but I have creatinly dreamt about it and hope to do so soon. Fingers crossed!

Lightening Paw sounds amazing!!
I would love to be able to bottle the scent of sawdust, which is my most favourite smell, ever. It’s so woodsy, fresh, and comforting. I am not sure that it is a fragrance I would want to wear, however, so I am imagining pairing it with something earthy and wet, like moss, or perhaps something subtly floral, vin rouge, and a touch of somthing sweet, like vanilla or honey. Then again, the concoction could be disastrous, so perhaps I should stick to the straight-up sawdust! It’s fun to imagine a dream scent….
I have been searching for that perfect rare scent for the longest time and that search finally came to an end last year when I received samples of Heather’s magical potions in the post. My favourite ones are National 6/7 and Victory Wolf. I like to wear wee spots of them together. They are so rich and mysterious but also warm and comforting.
My dream smell would take me back to winters in Scotland, coming in from a frosty star filled night smelling of bonfires and dark soil to the warmth of wood fire and a spiced hot toddy. Which is actually what Victory Wolf smells like to me :)

Foret. No question. And with Winter coming on here in the midwest what sounds more amazing than smelling like a forest whilst trudging through the snow? Nothing
Also, my dream concoction would include the scents of wet sand, pine and earthy moss. To remind me during the long, cold winter what summer up north smells like.

My 200 year old Oak Tree will be mad at me for not choosing Foret (I AM a tree hugger!!!), but I have to go with Violet & Leather, the imagery alone is compelling. Hope I win! I WANT to smell this on my wrists soon!

Dream scent – the smell of my mother’s cheek when I was little + cold crisp North Dakota winter + rich dark coffee + citrus. I don’t know how that would come together, but I’d like to know.
