I think the Foret and Nationale 6/7 sound right up my alley. Actually, they all sound terribly intriguing!

  2. Melissa D says:

Oh – and my dream fragrance concoction would be light and citrusy, with fresh (not cloying) lime and coconut notes. Actually, Method had an all-purpose cleaner with a similar, great limited edition scent – lime and sea salt. Bizarrely, you really could sense the ‘sea salt’ in it. I loved that.

  3. Julia says:

oh my… i truly cannot decide! my mind is daydreaming about victory wolf, while my heart is fluttering for valens, and my noise itches to breathe in dark wave! x

tulare and nationale sound amazing. I think it’s the jasmine…

  45. Inge says:

I love the sound of Forêt. I think it will be perfect for me.

  46. Inge says:

  54. Jesika Jennings says:

    DAFNE looks HEAVENLY!!!!

    X

  56. I love unique natural fragrances. Lightning Paw sounds right up my alley. Dark Wave sounds pretty dreamy too…

  57. abby says:

What a flipping amazing giveaway! I’m a big fan of Olo, and Lightning Paw and Dark Wave are my two favs. So hard to choose just one.

  58. Kerry says:

Tulare sounds perfect! PERFECT. A dream scent might be clean linen, jasmine and salt water.

  59. fawn says:

Dafne sounds divine. Count me in!

  60. Netts says:

Bonus entry – my dream scent concoction is very wintery, equal parts snow, chimney smoke, citrus and baking spices. And yes, that sounds like a lot of OLO scents, which is precisely why I’m more excited about this giveaway than any other one so far.

  61. MF Miller says:

Would love to try Violet Leather or Tulare because they sound so unconventional and really just amazing.

My ideal scent would be a good mix of sexier must and some citrus (my husband loves citrus and he’s the person who I want to smell me most!).

  62. abby says:

Bonus entry: My dream scent would be one based on a Night Blooming Cereus flower. It’s the perfect combination of jasmine and cannibus! Our neighbors have one that bloomed this summer & I couldn’t help but send a photo to Heather via instagram, as a Olo scent was my first thought.

  63. Lauren says:

I already know I’m obsessed with Lightning Paw – but lately I’ve been really missing the forest since I moved to NYC, so I would safely go with Foret.

Lately I’ve been really thinking about a combination of the best parts of Lightning Paw mixed with something foresty. I wonder what a combination of spruce, bergamot and patchouli would be like?

Also: love that Carlie took the pictures! She is a darling friend of mine.

  64. If I could develop one dream scent, it would have to incorporate citrus and gardenia. My hometown is famous for its orange trees, and nothing beats the smell of the orange blossoms on a summer evening. Gardenias hold a special place in my heart, as they were my grandmother’s favorite flower.

As far as already concocted OLO fragrances are concerned, Valens sounds right up my alley. Yum.

  65. Lisa says:

Ohhhh, I have been dying to test both Foret and Valens!

  66. Lisa says:

I would love to have a perfume with maybe leather, wood, tobacco, vanilla, and rose (or some mix of those).

  72. Chelsea says:

I have quite the collection of Olo perfumes. I love them. I love Nationale, that was the first one I ever tried. And then Leisure Nomad was my favorite and pretty much my ideal scent and I am sad that I have used the very last of my bottle of it because she isn’t making it anymore. I wore Daphne this Spring/Summer and I just bought Dark Wave for the Fall.

  73. Darcy says:

I’m currently loving FORET but have recently smelled Nationale which is coming in at a close second. Heather makes such amazingly magical scents I don’t know that I could come up with a better one. However, a campfire-middle-of-the-woods scent would be worth wearing.

  74. Stephanie says:

    Lightning Paw sounds wonderful

  75. Stephanie says:

Bonus entry: My dream concoction would smell like clean laundry, peppermint, and the faintest hint of smoke.

  76. Heather says:

  83. Marisa says:

I wear the lighting paw nearly everyday! But, it was a hard choice!

  84. Laura says:

OLO is the best! Her fragrances are truly transporting and mythical. I love lightning paw, foret, and dark wave. But I’ve always wanted to smell the rest of the collection.

  85. Jade Sheldon says:

    DAFNE sounds absolutely incredible!

  86. Jade Sheldon says:

My dream concoction smells warm with hints of vanilla and citrus

  87. naila says:

In all honesty, I’m getting so caught up in their scenic descriptions, I can’t choose one anymore. Victory Wolf sounds unique and lovely…but then again so do Valens, lightening paw, and dark wave.

  88. naila says:

Also, I am forever in pursuit of the perfect vanilla scent that doesn’t turn sickly sweet. Vanilla, then, with a dash of spice and smoke.

essentially, whatever smells the most like a bottled baking session is my kinda deal.

  89. Emily says:

Yes please! I can never get enough great smelling scents!
I kind of want them all– but I think Lightening Paw and Foret sound amazing. Or maybe Dark Wave… I love cardamom.

My dream scent would have citrus, rose, leather or tobacco and mace… something herbal/floral with a tomboy twist.

  90. Hai Yen says:

Tulare and Foret sound amazing! I love scents that are reminiscent of time spent outdoors. Dark Wave and Dafne also intrigue me. The descriptions of the scents are so poetic and makes me want to sniff them all.

  91. Sara says:

I think Lightning Paw sounds most appealing. If I could create my dream scent, it would be a blend of petrichor, wood, black tea and the lightest hint of black vanilla and rose. (Sigh)

  92. Kelley says:

I think that Erastus sounds phenomenal.

My dream scent is a woody patchouli with hints of vanilla, sugar, and tabacco.

  93. Pam says:

Lightning Paw and Dark Wave both sound beautiful!

  94. Pam says:

And my dream scent would be smoky, but with a spicy sweetness to it. Like cathedral incense, but a bit woodier.

  95. Christine A. says:

Citrus is my favorite scent but I wish I could find one that reminds me of a foggy day, cypress trees and Pt. Lobos. No doubt OLO could make it :)

  96. Megan Barkdull says:

Dafne sounds amazing- I always love citrus-y smells. But my ideal fragrance would be something that captured the smell of a summer thunderstorm. I don’t have any idea how that could be bottled, but that would be my “dream scent concoction” :)

  97. Charlotte says:

I would have to say that the sent that sound the best to me is the lightning paw not only for its divine sounding sent combinations, I mean vanilla and jasmine WOW, but also for its fantastic name…..who would not want to wear a sent named lightning paw!

    eeee! Valens and Foret!

dream sent: I have long thought the heavenly smell of Daphne would be the perfect scent and now it exists!! magic.

  102. C says:

I’ve been coveting/excitedly sniffing store samples of OLO fragrances for a while. I really like Dark Wave. I have never smelled Victory Wolf, though, and the idea of it sounds wonderful.

  103. C says:

I think my dream scent would be the smell of the beginning of summer, when it’s the first warm day of the year. I can’t figure out what notes that would include other than grass, but it would be fresh and sunny. And I would love a fragrance that featured basil, which has one of my favourite aromas.

  104. Carly Ekins says:

my dream scent would smell something like fresh rain. i love fresh and clean smelling fragrances!

  105. Carly Ekins says:

    and i pick Valens!

  106. lauren says:

  107. Yvonne says:

    VALENS!

  108. Allison says:

Dark Wave and Valens just sound sexy! I need them in my life!

  109. Laurel says:

Tulare sounds like it’s perfect for me. Baked earth is one of my favorite scents outside of a bottle and I think it would be lovely as a perfume. :)

Nationale 6/7 is my favourite from that list, sounds wonderful!

  115. sharon says:

the lightning paw sounds like it would smell very delicate. thanks for hosting the giveaway

  116. annie says:

    Erastus is the loveliest!

  117. annie says:

As for dreamiest dream fragrances, I think the smell of hot piney dirt, like the mountains in Eastern Oregon, would be magical. Sweet pine, warm and earthy, would be so wonderful in the rainy months!

  118. Gwen says:

As a bonus entry, I think my dream fragrance would be natural, floral, and old-fashioned.Yet somewhat warm and heavy and sort of reminiscent of 1920s exoticism. Hard to say exactly what that might contain!

  119. Ms Moon says:

Valens, for a scent to linger of love, within it has such ability to can override any scent you are amongst, as love conquers all.

If I were to wear a scent it would have to encompass a depth of purity yet entice. A smell that is not only for the senses but that remains in ones mind. Which one can never pin point the remedy. It entwines perfectly.
The scent pops up in moments of sheer delight and brings one back to memories of joy. It would smell like the pages of an old antique book, the smell in the atmosphere of rain on hot tare, the smell of running through a field of sunflowers and the smell of clarity when gazing at the moon and stars on a crystal clear night over the ocean.

Depth with hidden undertones of floral and bittersweet.

  131. Suzanne K says:

They all sound AMAZING but I think the Violet/Leather sounds pretty awesone! That or Lightening Paw!

    Eeeek, keeping my fingers crossed!

Nationale is probably my favorite of the OLO fragrances but I love them all so much!

  158. Vanessa says:

A few years ago I stumbled upon this homewares shop in downtown Dallas, TX and they had these amazing candles on sale (going out of business I think) and they were AMAZING. I bought the few that the shop had left but I’ve always searched for a similar scent. I would wear it forever and ever if I could. It was a sweet woodsy smell… I can’t even put into words how great it was. You’d have to smell it :)

  176. notcharlene says:

Dark Wave! I left Portland nearly two years ago and so deeply miss the PNW… and for some reason the description of this scent reminds me of morning walks through Forest Park.

Oh my god! OLO fragrances are the best. I am kicking myself for not picking something up while I was in Portland this summer. I was lucky enough to smell some at the Summerland Headquarters, and my favourite one was Violet/Leather but I LOVE the idea of Dark Wave since I do live in the PNW.

  186. Rachel says:

A couple of months ago my friend and I were in Frances May huffing these perfumes (ok, not really), and the lady who makes them turned out to be there, too. Anyway, they smelled wonderful, and we told her so. My favorite was a combination of Victory Wolf and (I think) Foret. Which I guess is kind of like a forest fire, hmm.

I think my ideal scent depends on the day. Lately I’m into woodsy, smokey scents, but sometimes something sweeter, like vanilla, is nice. Oh, and I’ve always wanted a perfume that smells like mint.

  187. Chloe says:

Well, I cheat a bit because I already know that Violet/Leather is my favorite perfume on the planet. In fact, I’ve been trying to figure out a way to make it into an ice cream flavor :)

  188. Chloe says:

    Bonus Entry:
A perfume that smells like warm, damp corn husks (the kind you peel off of tamales)

  189. katie says:

valens is my favourite olo scent and lightening paw comes in a close second. I like scents that are woody yet still floral and soft, something with pine or cedar and maybe vanilla. hmmm

  210. Kara says:

Dream scent: lemon, verbena, bay, clove, black pepper

  211. Leslie M. says:

Valens sounds amazing. I would like a scent made of Sophora secundiflora (Texas mountain laurel). It grew on my college campus and whenever I would walk by one I would think of grape koolaid. That sounds horrible, but its sooo nice!

Dark Wave sounds like just the thing to battle the coming rains here in Portland!

all of them are amazing. it’s hard to choose!

  221. Cica says:

I think Carnation * Geranium * Cinnamon* Black Pepper is really cool. My combination of scents would be something like sandalwood, wood, waterlily, lavender… Relaxing but strong.

    Lightening Paw sounds amazing!

  234. sara kristen says:

I have always been intrigued by Forêt, Lightning Paw, and Victory Wolf, but the new Tulare and Dark Wave scents sound equally divine. I have not yet had the pleasure of smelling any OLO fragrances in person, but I have creatinly dreamt about it and hope to do so soon. Fingers crossed!

Thanks, as always, for another lovely, amazing giveaway.

    xo

  235. Nicole says:

    Lightening Paw sounds amazing!!

  236. sara kristen says:

I would love to be able to bottle the scent of sawdust, which is my most favourite smell, ever. It’s so woodsy, fresh, and comforting. I am not sure that it is a fragrance I would want to wear, however, so I am imagining pairing it with something earthy and wet, like moss, or perhaps something subtly floral, vin rouge, and a touch of somthing sweet, like vanilla or honey. Then again, the concoction could be disastrous, so perhaps I should stick to the straight-up sawdust! It’s fun to imagine a dream scent….

  237. Kate says:

I have been searching for that perfect rare scent for the longest time and that search finally came to an end last year when I received samples of Heather’s magical potions in the post. My favourite ones are National 6/7 and Victory Wolf. I like to wear wee spots of them together. They are so rich and mysterious but also warm and comforting.

  238. Kate says:

My dream smell would take me back to winters in Scotland, coming in from a frosty star filled night smelling of bonfires and dark soil to the warmth of wood fire and a spiced hot toddy. Which is actually what Victory Wolf smells like to me :)

  239. Libs Elliott says:

Victory Wolf sounds amazing. Especially for Fall. And I’ve always wanted to try Violet/Leather as well.

  240. Melissa says:

Foret. No question. And with Winter coming on here in the midwest what sounds more amazing than smelling like a forest whilst trudging through the snow? Nothing

  241. Libs Elliott says:

Also, my dream concoction would include the scents of wet sand, pine and earthy moss. To remind me during the long, cold winter what summer up north smells like.

  242. I’ve always wanted to try the Foret!

  243. Emma Jane says:

    Erastus sounds perfect for winter!

  244. Brenda says:

My 200 year old Oak Tree will be mad at me for not choosing Foret (I AM a tree hugger!!!), but I have to go with Violet & Leather, the imagery alone is compelling. Hope I win! I WANT to smell this on my wrists soon!

My dream fragrance mix would involve lilac, lavendar & incense……

  245. Emma Jane says:

My dream concoction would smell like I’d been sitting in a cafe all day: coffee, freshly baked bread, musty book pages, a toasty fireplace.

  246. Heather says:

    Erastus sounds incredibly interesting!

Dream scent – the smell of my mother’s cheek when I was little + cold crisp North Dakota winter + rich dark coffee + citrus. I don’t know how that would come together, but I’d like to know.

  247. Charlotte says:

for my extra entry I would say that my dream sent would be made up of a concoction of vanilla and an old fashioned wild rose
