Moon Chart Giveaway!
Hello! My first fun Holiday Giveaway is from Agent Gallery Chicago! You may have seen the moon chart in my moonchild living room on Instagram–a lot of people have asked me about it, so I thought it would be cool to do a giveaway with Mariano from AGC. One lucky winner will get to choose between either a signed AGC Moon Chart or their choice of two of the smaller unmounted cosmic prints (terrestrial, orbits, comets, moon, silver moon or constellation). I stopped by this shop when I was in Chicago–it’s AMAZING. Good luck!! xx

I think my top favorite would be the drafting table, though given the limited space in our NYC apt it probably would take up half the apartment! The moon print has always been one of my more practical favorites, too.

I adore the moon chart itself, but as I’m moving house next week and will have very little furniture I couldn’t help but gaze fruitlessly at most of the items in the shop – am a bit in love with the 1940s jewellery table; the 1930s theatre loveseats, and the carpenter’s storage cabinet. For starters.
Already an HK fan on FB, am now a fan of AGC (and acronyms too, evidently.)
Would just like to add that I think it’s super cool that AGC will put in for postage if someone international wins, and in fact that there’s the option for international winners at all! x

i literally gasped, “oh, no!” when i first visited the site. it’s a treasure trove of curiosities. that said, i would actually say that the moon print stands out as a favorite for sure. with a long-standing love of vintage astronomy collectibles and as someone who actually got married IN a planetarium, i would love to see that piece hanging in my home.

Honestly, I think my favorite is the animal skull collection. They make me feel nostalgic, haha. When I was little and living in the desert, my father would take me and my little brother to the fields to launch rockets and search for animal bones. We often returned home with various snake skeletons and canine type skulls. I also love the deep space star chart. I’m a complete sucker for anything universe inspired.

ah!! everything is so amazing. i am instantly drawn the the meat prints, on a count of i grew up in a butcher shop, and the anatomy charts, on a count of i grew up with a mother who was a biologist who left crazy books children shouldn’t have their eyes on. it’s all great!

I spent over an hour looking at vintage space photography on art.com for my youngest son so I suppose it’s no surprise that I’m drawn to any of the lunar charts and prints.
