Here are some photos from 1930 by one of my favorite photographers, Alfred Eisenstaedt. He snapped them at the Paris Opera dance school while the ballerinas were rehearsing Swan Lake. Don’t you just want to curl up in those windows with pillows and books for days?
I think I keep looking at photographs of people dancing or attempting great feats of daring because of my injured leg. I keep daydreaming about not only my lofty exercise goals for 2013 and taking Zelda for walks, but also more mundane things like being able to walk down the hall or run down the front steps. I want my physical therapy sessions to be quick magic, but maybe my first lesson for 2013 is to be patient? Have a wonderful week! xx
