Edeline Lee

I’ve been admiring these images from the Edeline Lee fashion week presentation that glowed in “Vermeer light” at Royal Geographical Society in London. Outside the frenzy of LFW, the models synchronized their quiet movements in Edeline’s beautiful spring collection to the tick of a metronome. And the jingle from arms being loaded with bangles. I love the waterfalls of bracelets–they remind me of the Nancy Cunard portrait by Man Ray! More HERE.

I read Nancy Cunard’s biography this summer and became obsessed with bracelets… but I never seem to find the right ones! Come to find out, they were all here on these models. I love this idea for showing a collection, it’s like theater- so cool!

  2. Oh, I missed this one! I find the events away from the main LFW locations are often the best- Draw in Light did a lovely one last year http://www.liberty.co.uk/blog/10755/guest-blog-draw-in-light-at-london-fashion-week/

I was just looking at some Man Ray photos, wishing I could have Lee Miller’s hair as my new look for spring.

What a beautiful location for a show! It really suits the collection. x
