Friday!

Happy Friday! Do you have any fun plans? I am going to be cleaning the hell out of the closets and getting some chores done around the house that have been driving me NUTS. Also, taking some things to the dry cleaner and we’ve got a vintage hi-fi record player that my husband is finally taking into the shop to get fixed. I think I must be full in spring cleaning, fix-it and reorganizing mode. The thing that motivates me is anticipation of that weightless feeling once everything is all done. I don’t know how much time I spend a week getting a twinge of crankiness because I’m aware of all the things I don’t have time to get done. It always makes everything else in life more pleasant when those nagging thoughts have been exorcised. Clutter be gone! I hope your own weekend madness goes well! xx Jen

Thanks for including me, Jen!! Have a great weekend.

  2. That fattoush recipe on Not Without Salt is stunning. I need to rekindle my love of salad, it’s so easy to just ignore vegetables altogether when the weather gets colder…also thanks for linking to the blog post about DOMA, what a beautiful read! We’re just about to put marriage equality to the final vote here in New Zealand so it’s rather lovely feeling the momentum on the other side of the world, too.

Glad to hear I’m not the only one that gets that twinge of crankiness from all the unfinished chores! Especially when working from home, I often have to walk past right the dishes and the dust on the floor and into my workspace, or else I’d never get any work done! Lovely links as usual, love that shirt and skirt!

Ooooh, I hadn’t seen that photo of Renee Perle before. The second image is a DREAM, too. LOVE Lartigue. Off to check your links now. Happy Easter weekend!

what a great gift idea for mother’s day – i have one of those moms who always insists that there’s nothing she needs – but she can’t argue with sweet treats!
