Vika Gazinskaya

Here are my favorites from the beautiful Vika Gazinskaya Autumn/Winter 2013 collection. I loved her cloud-inspired spring collection and she is still slaying me with her unique vision and stunning shapes. I even love her cartoonish zig-zag hems and bedazzling. Of course, her stuffed animal faux fur stoles are sweet and a bit tongue-in-cheek, but I think she actually did a beautiful job with the curly, Steiff teddy bear winter coat and massive stole. And the moon and stars dress below will be starring in many of my daydreams!

  1. Ooooo! I love this Jen (I remember when you posted that wonderful cloud collection), and these are just the images I needed to cool me down in sticky Michigan July. I especially love that second dress, and the dress and skirt with the jagged hems.

These shapes and textures are incredible. The fox stole somehow looks edgy even though it’s decidedly playful. I just found your blog and I’m a smitten new fan for sure!

The dresses with the black outlines on the sleeves makes it look as if they were drawn on the model! Really quite interesting.

The shapes! Such beautiful tailoring. I also really like the fake fox stoles and I usually hate that kind of fakery!

  6. Oh my goodness! Her style is a lovely balance between geometric and feminine – the moon dress is definitely my favourite. I’m always glad when I see “moon” things on your blog, which is one of the reasons I started reading :). I made a moon cake recently that you might like – check it out if you want, but please don’t feel ANY pressure <3. http://ow.ly/ngupJ
