♡ This Saturday, Aug 24, my pals at Colette Patterns will be having a BIG STUDIO SALE at their Ford Building headquarters! They are cleaning out their fabric stash, prop closets and a lot more. Sarai will also be selling off a TON of her vintage jewelry, purses, hats and other vintage bits and bobs from photo shoots. Come by 10AM – 4PM (please don’t show up before 10). ♡ On Wednesday, August 28, the Fade to Light: A Multidimensional Fashion Event takes place at The Crystal Ballroom. Fade to Light showcases the work of both established and emerging designers within the Portland fashion community, including Project Runway winners and alums and graduates from The Art Institute of Portland and Portland Sewing’s Fashion Forward Program. These designers not only design their collections in Portland, they also do almost all of their manufacturing in Portland and 100% of the manufacturing is done ethically and sustainably.
