Renée Perle

Happy Monday. I hope you had a lovely weekend! I thought I’d share a couple of my favorite images of Renée Perle taken by one of my very favorite photographers, Jacques Henri Lartigue. They were taken between 1930–1932 in Biarritz, Juan-les-Pins or somewhere else on the Côte d’Azur while they were sweethearts. She was such a cool beauty–it’s not very well documented where she landed after her love affair with Lartigue–it would be awesome to know more. She married and had children, but what else? I think it is funny that she was obsessed with painting little self-portraits. Selfies of yore! Have a good week. xx
