It’s the fourth year of this live, conceptual design and fashion installation. 28+ guest rooms will be transformed by as many members of Portland’s über talented design community. Monday, November 18, my friend and phenomenal vegan chef, Isa Moskowitz, will be having a signing for her amazing new book, Isa Does It: Amazingly, Easy, Wildly Delicious Vegan Recipes for Every Day of the Week. Black Friday, November 29 and Saturday, November 30, it’s time for the big Little Boxes event! Approximately 1 bazillion awesome locally owned shops will by participating in this citywide sale event and amazing mega raffle. SO MUCH FUN. MORE INFO.

YUM! Boxer Ramen finally opens today in Union Way across from Ace Hotel!! Plus, my dear friend and Portland artist, Trish Grantham, painted all the amazingly sweet Boxer Ramen characters on the walls.

Now through January 5, OMSI is having The International Exhibit of Sherlock Holmes. You’ll see a dazzling array of original manuscripts, publications, period artifacts, film and television props and costumes. You’ll learn to use investigative tools and techniques from Holmes himself and test yourself with exciting, interactive crime-solving opportunities. I hope Jeremy Brett is there in spirit! FUN! Now through Jan 12, the Portland Art Museum has an amazing SAMURAI! exhibit with armor from the Ann and Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Collection.
