Those beautiful walls above are at new Portland bar, Angel Face. Incredibly, that is NOT floral wallpaper. My friend, Michael Paulus, is an amazing local artist and he painted each flower (there are about 500) on the wall individually. It’s mind boggling–he’s such a talented fellow and a total luddite who will probably remain unaware that people are freaking out about his stunning work all over instagram. Can’t wait to check out this lovely new space–I love John’s other restaurants, Navarre and Luce, so very much. Angel Face is at 14 NE 28th Ave. ♥
