Shop Visit: OKO

Nestled on NW 28th & Thurman, OKO is a slightly hidden Portland gem that is definitely worth searching out. Proprietress, Lisa Mangum, travels to far-flung locales ranging from Missouri to Serbia to find one of a kind antique jewelry, housewares and art to stock the shop with and does so with an impeccable, curatorial eye. You’ll also find local lines such as Tiro Tiro, Boet and Portland Apothecary. The result is a beautiful and homey space housing an ever-changing selection of items including rugs, sterling and turquoise jewelry, Victorian objets d’art art, both modern and vintage pottery and lots more. If you’re anything like me, you’ll want to take it all home with you.

Make sure to stop by if you live in Portland or when you’re visiting our fair city! You can also shop Lisa’s OKO on Etsy shop for some of her gorgeous vintage jewelry, rugs and objects.

OKO is located at 2774 NW Thurman and is open Tuesday through Saturday 11AM–6PM and Sundays 12PM–5PM. You can also find OKO on Facebook and @okoportland on Instagram.
