I’m in love with the new Co collection for fall by designers Stephanie Danan and Justin Kern. The dreamy portraiture by photographer Amanda Demme is pure magic. The designers were so inspired by her work that they ended up designing some pieces based on the drama they knew she’d be able to create when they’d eventually collaborate on this lookbook.
The pieces look so sophisticated, but there are a lot of nice wardrobe staples. My favorites are the black honeycomb-stitch pullover sweater and the grey cashmere cable-knit a-line sweater (love it in black too) because they are simple and beautifully done — you could wear them multiple times a week for years. I also love the pleated ruffle-side top and the silk rose palazzo pants are aaahhhhmazing. I’d probably look like a rose festooned Pac-Man ghost in them, but they are glorious sight to behold.
