Floral Ice Cubes

Seeing the Art in the Age post about floral ice cubes in one of their lovely Rhubarb Tea cocktail recipes made me so excited about sunny days ahead. In the warmer months, I love to make pitchers of strange summer beverages like apple cider vinegar, lemonade, lavender and spearmint cold brew tea with ice cubes with berries. I love the idea of using edible flowers — they look so pretty in the cubes, but I think they’d be wonderful in spheres as well, like these round ice molds or these. If you need a list of nice, edible fleurs — I was just thinking about the lovely edible flowers post that Ashley English did for Design Sponge a few years back. You can also use berries, melons, lavender and other herbs!
