Open Air Museum

I’ve been loving the new collection from Open Air Museum by emerging Portland designer Shea Christner. Christner moved to Portland in spring of 2015, only a year ago after receiving her BFA in fibers at Savannah College of Art and Design, so it’s amazing that she was able to settle in and launch her first collection after just a year in PDX. Shea finds inspiration for her designs in primitive sculpture, the Bauhaus movement, and Comme des Garçons founder Rei Kawakubo. My faves are the raw silk Eva Dress and the Accordion Tops in both colors.

You can shop Open Air Museum online and for Portland locals and visitors — Shea’s designs can be found at both Backtalk and Johan. More HERE.
