Windward Made

I’ve been loving the handmade linen scarves and art prints from Windward Made by Dutch designer Inge van Geem. I’ve followed Inge’s work for years through a variety of natural textiles and I’m so happy that she is working with Belgian linen now — it’s the fabric I love most of all. Some people find linen intimidating to take care of, but it’s easy — just wash in cold water and hang to dry. I also love that her artwork is printed on archival bamboo/cotton paper with archival quality ink that can last a lifetime under glass. This lady is passionate about slow fashion and creating sustainable goods at an accessible price point so everyone can join in. So inspiring! My favorites are the wide Belgian linen Stamped Ferns Scarf, the small Belgian linen Stamped Forest Scarf, the Painted Sky Art Print, and this Art Print Trio.
