BRUNCH, PLEASE: I am very excited to find out that Victoria now has brunch from 11AM to 4PM! That’s nice and late! I can’t find a brunch menu online yet, but I am 100% sure it will be super delicious and that there will be vegan options. It will also be nice when it warms up because they have a huge patio. Stop by Woonwinkel for a lovely ceramics pop-up shop featuring the colorful works of Brian Giniewski, Lisa Jones of Pigeon Toe, Ashley Hardy, Mary Carroll, and Sarah Wertzberger. The pop up shop coincides with the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) Portland conference and also with the city-wide Design Week Portland (DWP). OKO is having Mars Municipal and her beautiful collection of framed vintage prints up on the walls, Haunt is having a fun plant exchange (bring a plant and learn about propagation!), Julia Barbee is having a perfume launch at Haunt for her Mother Naturalist fragrance and she’s bringing clay boobs and temporary tattoos, xobruno will be showing new work by Nate Preston, and lots more fun times! Beebe is a local artist and clothing designer and the pop-up will feature dresses made from a mix of new and vintage fabric that she manipulates and dyes with natural pigments from plants and vegetables.
