Portland friends! Come out tonight, Thurs. 11/2, for a fun benefit event, Día de los Muertos — A Benefit for Mexico, at Project Object (2502 NE Sandy Blvd) that is hosted by lovely Jennifer Bolanos from Vía Raíz. It’s going to be a magic evening to celebrate the hauntingly beautiful Mexican holiday Día de los Muertos! All proceeds from donations and the amazing raffles will go to Project Paz to help the ongoing work of Mexico’s earthquake relief efforts.

Come indulge in fresh pan de muerto, Mexican hot chocolate, and champurrado by Chuparrosa. Make your own letterpress with Letra Chueca. Bring a photo of a loved one who has passed away to place at the altar with flowers by Fieldwork Flowers. And, of course, get in on the thousands of dollars in phenomenal raffle prizes from Vía Raíz and dozens of great designers, restaurants, and local shops. MORE INFO + INTERVIEW WITH VÍA RAÍZ.
