HAPPY FRIDAY! I’m enjoying showing my friend from Montreal around Portland and eating way too much indulgent food. Looking forward to picking out some pumpkins for the front steps, waterfall sightings and trying to take fall as slow as possible since it’s my favorite season. I hope you have fun out there and get to enjoy the long weekend. xo Jen

Chinti & Parker

Every fall I love to see what the Chinti & Parker ladies have come up with. They always have a good mix of versatile fun pieces and cozy practical closet staples. I’m still drawn to their sweet star everything — hats, cardigans, robes… and the hearts on sleeves (or elbows) always make me smile. This season I especially love the Hooded Grey Cardigan, the Black Pom Pom Cashmere Sweater, the Navy & Cream Pom Pom Sweater, the Split Hem Striped Sweater, the Striped Button Back Sweater, the Heart Pocket Striped Shirt and I still would be so happy to wrap up in a Cashmere Robe with Stars. Shop HERE and HERE and HERE.

Ivy Muse

As my days as a plant assassin fade into a distant memory (aside from ferns — I still slay ferns, unfortunately), I find more of a need to find interesting vessels and stands for these plants that somehow continue to thrive. These stands from Ivy Muse are high on my list of beauties to hold my living room leafy brood. I love that they come in so many colors, shapes and heights! A few of my faves are the Empire, the Arrow, Feline and the Chrysalis. Since they’re crafted in Australia they are a bit hard to come by in the states, but I’m headed for a visit to Minneapolis this fall and I’m looking forward to stopping by Forage Modern Workshop to see them in person and order through them. More HERE and HERE.

HAPPY FRIDAY, friends! What a week! I’m so excited about my two amazing giveaways and everything happening in the coming weeks. The thrill of fall is dizzying and I’m already getting excited for the holidays. I think with such a hot ass summer — the promise of cooler days is that much more wonderful. My weekend is busy with organization and getting the house ready for my friend visiting from Montreal, but I’m going to try to squeeze some more baking and soup making in. Have a good one! xo Jen

P.S. Has anyone been watching this show? It’s on my list — maybe this weekend.
