The trunk show runs today and all weekend long, but if you want to meet the Portland jewelry designer you should pop by this evening from 3PM to 8PM. Saturday, June 24. 6PM to 8PM. YAY! More good stuff on Alberta is happening! The Wild Unknown is opening up a brick and mortar storefront for their ritual wares! Come out for The Wild Unknown Shop Grand Opening and record release party. The shop will house The Wild Unknown tarot and oracle decks, candles, incense, other ritual items, crystals, artwork, transformational books, and much more. There is also a mirrored tarot house for readings (signups open next month), and a sweet shrine where visitors can add a small photo of a loved one or sacred teacher who’s helped them along the way. Saturday, June 24. 21+. 8PM to 1:30AM. Benefit for Planned Parenthood. Come dancing at Pom Prom and participate in a fun silent auction with goods from great local businesses and 100% of all proceeds going to benefit Portland’s Planned Parenthood chapter. Sunday, June 25. 11AM to 5PM. Pop by Sarah’s Wolf Ceramics Summer Sale & Open Studio this Sunday! She’ll have ceramics for sale in the garden and house, and the studio will be open with seconds and samples for sale as well. They’ll also be joined by Gurton’s Plant Shop! Ronald McDonald House and some sick kids and families in need will be the recipients of the proceeds from this event. Local ladies Alison Wu and Shannon Sims will be preparing a beautiful food spread and there will be Tea Bar tea-infused cocktails, Soma Kombucha, and lots more. Saturday, July 15 through Tuesday, August 29. Mmmmhmmmmm…. more good film fun. Come out for this great series — Classic French Cinema! Oh, lordy. The jewel and inspiration for the series is My Journey Through French Cinema by Bertrand Tavernier. The whole event is a Gallic cinematic love fest. Friday, July 21. NOON to 7PM. Get on over to the Plucky Maidens Summer Vintage Fest. Sunday, July 30. 4:30PM to 10PM. It’s coming! The 7th Annual Alley 33 Fashion Event! Project Object supports women, LGBTQ, POC, artists, and designers. You’ll find artwork, clothing, jewelry, accessories, home decor, apothecary, paper goods, smokeware, and ceramics. It’s also nice to know that a portion of each sale goes towards nonprofits, like ACLU, Planned Parenthood, and Bradley Angle — a local organization that helps victims of domestic violence.

Come to the Project Object opening party and partake of sips, small bites, awesome raffle giveaways and rad things made by great people. Plus, meet and see the work of featured pop-up artist Klai Brown, the illustrator and ceramicist who painted a beautiful mural of ladies on the shop walls. The first 100 visitors will receive a complimentary Klai lady mural tote! Friday, April 7 thru Sunday, April 9. Opening reception Friday 6PM to 8PM. Come to Nationale for a special pop-up with Jess Beebe of Linea and Rosette for The Goddess / The Mother. Beebe is a local artist and clothing designer and the pop-up will feature dresses made from a mix of new and vintage fabric that she manipulates and dyes with natural pigments from plants and vegetables.
