Well, lovely Claire Pignot has done it again for her Heinui Autumn/Winter 2015 collection made in Spain. So many beautiful pieces that make us girls excited to get dressed in the morning. I love the “strokes” print that is another ace collaborative design with talented Barcelona-based illustrator Nuria R. Artuñedo. My favorites from the new season are the Ernest Washed Indigo Jumpsuit, the Strokes Print Lenny Dress, the Strokes Print Leonie Dress, the Mara Merino Wool Kimono and the embroidery work on the Luisa Embroidered Dress is AMAZING. I’m also looking forward to the Leo Dungaree Dress and both the Octave Dress and Albert Shirt in the pretty mint and indigo ikat check print. More HERE.

I have a thing for old botanical prints and little nature oil paintings, so I’ve been enamored with the beautiful Leif shop stock of original prints from the 1800s. I have my eye on a few ferns and some lovely seaweed prints in shades of green, pink and red. It’s hard to choose! I’m continuing to build on my flora and fauna collection that will decorate our dining room again, but I’m waiting until I find a couple of pieces of furniture, so I really know where the pieces will go before I pound nails into our plaster walls. More HERE.

HAPPY FRIDAY! I’m enjoying showing my friend from Montreal around Portland and eating way too much indulgent food. Looking forward to picking out some pumpkins for the front steps, waterfall sightings and trying to take fall as slow as possible since it’s my favorite season. I hope you have fun out there and get to enjoy the long weekend. xo Jen

Every fall I love to see what the Chinti & Parker ladies have come up with. They always have a good mix of versatile fun pieces and cozy practical closet staples. I’m still drawn to their sweet star everything — hats, cardigans, robes… and the hearts on sleeves (or elbows) always make me smile. This season I especially love the Hooded Grey Cardigan, the Black Pom Pom Cashmere Sweater, the Navy & Cream Pom Pom Sweater, the Split Hem Striped Sweater, the Striped Button Back Sweater, the Heart Pocket Striped Shirt and I still would be so happy to wrap up in a Cashmere Robe with Stars. Shop HERE and HERE and HERE.
